Description:

The Osteoporosis Essentials: Densitometry, Diagnosis and Management Course covers the latest knowledge on densitometry, diagnosis and management of osteoporosis. It is endorsed by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. There are two types of courses available: Clinician Track and Technologist Track, each with their own mandatory examination. The examination fee is included in the course fee. Physicians, nurses and allied health workers are welcome to join the Clinician Track while nuclear medicine physicians and radiographers are welcome to join the Technologist Track. Please register at the IOF homepage and pay directly to the IOF via credit cards (VISA, Mastercard). Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close when the class is full.

An Attestation of Achievement will be awarded to all participants who have successfully completed the course and who score 70% in the examination. The Attestation is a commonly accepted method of assessment outside of the US.
