Description:
The Clinician track and Technologist track courses will be held face to face at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila on October 23 and 24, 2023 (Monday and Tuesday). This course is for Filipinos only.
The courses will be held by well-experienced physicians, with extensive knowledge of osteoporosis and bone densitometry.
Course materials and lecture slides will be provided in print. Course materials and the lectures will be in English.
Registration fee is Two Hundred US dollars (USD 200). Registration and payment should be made using the IOF website https://www.osteoporosis-essentials.org/course-participant. You can choose to pay via credit card (VISA or Mastercard).
Each course has its own mandatory attestation exam (exam included in the course fee).
The Attestation Exam consists of 60 questions based on the knowledge learned during the course. Participants who score 70% shall receive an Attestation of Achievement indicating they have mastered the material taught in the course.
The Attestation Exam is not a certification exam. However, the Attestation will be a commonly accepted method of assessment outside the US.
ISCD also offers a NCCA Accredited Certification Exam. This Certification exam is independent of the course. Course participants who desire certification should go to the ISCD website to obtain the appropriate application form, review testing procedures, and review qualifications and fees. Upon successful completion of the Certification Exam, individuals will be awarded certification for a period of 5 years. The certification exams can be taken at PSI commercial test centers (Prometric Centers), located throughout the world. A listing of test centers is available on the ISCD website.
