Description:
The elements of the course are to provide education in bone densitometry and osteoporosis, covering the latest knowledge on diagnosis and management of osteoporosis for clinical medical doctors and technologists.
We also aim to raise the level of awareness and education in fracture prevention, bone health and osteoporosis prevention.
This comprehensive and intensive training course will include bone health evaluation, DXA acquisition analysis and interpretation, fracture risk assessment, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment, monitoring treatment, adverse effects of osteoporotic medications and cases for discussion.
Participants will receive a comprehensive training on densitometry realization and interpretation, with valuable concepts and information for the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
The course will include an attestation of achievement, an award to whom complete successfully both course and examination.
